Abstract

The behavior of the State media in the government of the Fourth Transformation reflected that through sophisticated and extensive dissemination strategies they collaborated to mentally and emotionally construct another collective “common sense” in the consciousness of the population whose conceptual heart it injected López Obrador's philosophy as a political worldview in all areas of daily life. Such institutional behavior turned public channels into the new “media soldiers” at the service of the regency project of “Hope for Change.” With this, the State media ceased to be public, for all citizens, for the entire society, to inform pluralistically and impartially about the events that occurred in the country; and they became ideological appendages to sponsor the Morenoist regime of the “National Renewal” and its political allies.
